Moxifloxacin eye drops are used in the treatment of infections caused by bacterial conjunctivitis. This eye drop can be prescribed to treat the symptoms of bacterial eye infection such as pink eye, and issues in the membrane that cover the outside of the eyeball and inside of the eyelids.
Moxifloxacin eye drops belong to a drug class called fluoroquinolone antibiotics which works by killing the bacteria that caused conjunctivitis in the eye. Moxifloxacin drops are strong in use thus they prevent the bacteria from spreading more in the eye and eliminate all the factors that may cause the infection to return.
